Over the next month or so I intend to record some covers, mostly songs that are favourites of mine from the past decade. My objective is to better learn how to record music, play music, sing and experiment with different vocal styles, and to involve friends in the process.
This here is just a practice run, a cover of “Shelia” by Atlas Sound.
Being a practice round, things are still pretty shaky, my vocals are no exception. Mind the flats and sour notes. Hopefully I’ll improve as time goes on.

WHAT? Was that you singing? There are times that I think I can hear you and then yet it is SO different than I have heard you before. If that was you, that was AWESOME! Can’t wait to see/hear what you come out with next.

I agree with Daina. Really good composition, i especially like the vocals. Seems like you’re really finding your own style. I dig the covers, and I’d love to hear your polished style on some new original stuff you might be workin on. STEVE HOLT!
